Top Commentators Plug-in: Get a free link
Following the old suggestion of Jim Karter, I’ve installed the Top Commentators Plug-in for WordPress. The five users with the most comments over the course of the month get an automatic link in our sidebar!
Considering we have no comments so far on this site, one little comment gets you a free link. How easy is that?
Not only is this a good way to try to get comments on a new site, it can also be a good way to reward loyal commentators on an existing site. I’ve added this plug-in to a few other sites of mine simply as a way to say “thanks”. We’ll see how it goes.

You never know — it might help a little. Very little at this point, but every little bit helps…

No problem. I’ve had a twitter account for a while now, but I’m just starting to use it more. Thanks for the comments.

Just a note — I’ve tweaked the Top Commentators script to show the 10 highest commentators instead of just five. Enjoy!
